Cassidy Dobler

Undergraduate researcher

I am a junior undergraduate studying Entomology and Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience and Behavior. Raised in Denver, Colorado, I love spending time outside, running, skiing, hiking, taking advantage of both the amazing Rocky Mountains at home and the beautiful gorges here in Ithaca. I was first introduced to the world of bees (and entomology in general) my Freshman year while taking the “Honey Bee Biology” course. That class sparked my excitement about bees and I became especially interested in native bee diversity and conservation. I joined the Danforth lab in November of 2022 and have contributed to research projects on DNA barcoding as well as community science (Project GNBee).
