Angela Yuan

Technician

I am a recent graduate majoring in biology with a concentration in ecology and evolutionary biology. I am interested in urban ecology and how man-made structures influence pollinator behavior. In the lab, I do many miscellaneous things for many projects, including making graphics, bee identification, fieldwork, GIS mapping, curatorial projects, and helping out with DNA sequencing. Outside the lab, I enjoy baking, sewing, painting, hiking, and playing tennis. My future plans include going to Sweden on a Fulbright to study urban pollinators and eventually going to graduate school.

Research Interests

urban pollinator ecology, native bees, outreach and education
